Some Fisheye Examples
I have a Nikon 10.5 F2.8 fisheye lens that is a wonderfully fun and sharp lens.
I like these shots to show some of what it can do, including the obligatory
'big nose' shots.
It can show interesting perspectives, as in the picture
of the dive boat NAI'A. It can create panoramics inside a closet. (See the
interior tent shot). Careful placement of elements in the frame and subject
matter can make it seem like it is not a fisheye. (See the tent at night shot).
It can be useful covering wide, wide areas, as in the picture of the meteor,
which was taken during a 30-second exposure pointing straight up. And of course
it can use perspective to emphasize noses...
