Lens Testing - Nikon 80-200F2.8 push-pull - page 1
Non-scientific, seat-of-the-pants shots with a Nikon 80-200F2.8 AF-D push-pull lens. When I got my D700 I took out several lenses one at a time to see how they performed on FX. I used the 80-200F2.8 many times with film, but less with my DX cameras. I feel the focal length is not wide enough on DX, but it works well on FX.

NIKON D700, 1/4000, F2.8
First attempts at using old push-pull 80-200F2.8 with new D700. Overall, I like the 80-200 F2.8 much more on film and FX digital than on DX digital.
