This is a flight sequence of a Lanner falcon, similar to a Peregrine falcon. I was testing the autofocus system on my camera, seeing if it could track a bird this fast in flight. It could, as long as the operator can keep the bird reasonably centered.
This image, and the rest, were all cropped, and the bird centered into the cropped frame. I did not track it as well as it seems here.
