Roatan Dive Trip, December 2023

In mid-December 2023 I returned to the Reef House Resort in Roatan for the 12th time. This was a special occasion in that my daughter Emily and her friend Kate also came along for a week to get PADI Open Water certified. That wasn't in the cards for Kate, but Emily completed the training in spite of inclement weather and got her Open Water certifcation by Thursday. We were only able to dive together once on Friday as Emily had ear issues, and I had just had another slight case of DCS - itching in a shoulder. This trip I shot all wide angle in anticipation of getting shots of Emily during training. The corals were still heavily bleached from the summer.
